Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is an occasion of peace, joy, and festivity. People visit friends and family, give gifts, and eat sweets and delicious food. Outside on our festival lawn, visit food stalls before heading indoors to play games and enjoy ticketed dance performances. Receive a beautiful henna design, learn about Islamic arts and traditions from community partners, and shop at the indoor bazaar of local artists and small business owners. See an ebru demonstration, try your hand at calligraphy, and create your own arts and crafts mementoes — plus, enjoy free Xu Bing: Word Alchemy admission!
This event is FREE and open to the public; registration is required and will be enforced for timed building entry 12–2 p.m. and 2–4 p.m. Food and drink will be available for sale. Bollywood dance performances are ticketed ($10) and include festival admission.
