Through classes and tours, Asia Society Texas supports lifelong learning opportunities for adults interested in engaging with Asian and Asian American arts, language, culture, history, politics, and customs.
Level I Language Classes
Korean Language Class: Level I
Build a foundation in Korean through weekly classes for adult language learners!

Cultural Bridges With AARP
Through a partnership with AARP, Asia Society Texas provides multiple entry points for communities to learn more about Asian cultures, traditions, and talents.
In this third series, Asia Society Texas is hosting seven (7) educational events taking place between May 2024 and January 2025. The listed virtual and in-person events connect to AARP's local priorities of health and cultural understanding. Workshops are open to Asia Society Texas audiences as well as AARP members.
Yoga Classes
Join All Levels Vinyasa Flow classes hosted by Lost Lotus Studio every third Saturday of the month for an inclusive class for practitioners of all levels to enjoy a flowing sequence amid tranquil surroundings and find a sense of clarity, control, and empowerment.

Customized Cultural Programs
Looking to plan a cultural event for your group? Asia Society Texas' Education Department can work with you to develop a customized program, including hands-on interactive workshops, lectures from scholars, holiday celebrations, outreach activities, or artist talks.

Architecture Tours
Guided tours of Asia Society Texas Center provide opportunities to see Yoshio Taniguchi's first free-standing structure in the United States. They focus on the materials, influences, and ambience of the building and are free for Members, $5 for Students and Seniors, and $8 for Nonmembers.
Tour stops will include:
- The Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater
- Edward Rudge Allen III Education Center
- Elkins Foundation Water Garden
- Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall
- The Water Garden Terrace
Tour Tips
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour. Groups arriving more than 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time should remain in our Grand Hall until tour staff and docents are ready. Latecomers may join the tour in progress.
- Tours last approximately 60 minutes and involve a minimal amount of walking. Wheelchair access is available throughout the building.
- Photography without flash is permitted for all current exhibitions. Photography permission for future exhibitions is dependent on agreements between loaning institutions and Asia Society Texas exhibitions staff.

Art Tours
Docent-led tours of Asia Society Texas’ exhibitions allow visitors to experience art on a personal level, learn about art historical periods and styles, and hear stories associated with the artwork. Art tours are free for Members, $5 for Students and Seniors, and $8 for Nonmembers.
Tour Tips
