The Asia Society Texas Teen Council is a cohort of teens engaging in year-round programming designed to uplift and amplify student voices representing the diversity of Houston. Throughout the program, teens will learn about diverse cultures, develop cross-cultural communication skills, and build global competency.
Join a group of up to 20 high school students to design programs and resources that make Asia Society Texas a more welcoming, accessible, and relevant space for Houston-area youth!
Asia Society Texas’ internship program focuses on providing high school and college-aged students with opportunities to master technical skills, gain essential background knowledge, foster interpersonal skills, and build a network of educational and professional contacts. Through opportunities to build work experience, interns expand their understanding of global affairs and current events that touch upon Asia and Asian America, program development, museum operations, and nonprofit work. The internship also deepens existing relationships and establishes new relationships with high schools, universities, and other community organizations engaged in AST programming.
Paid internships at Asia Society Texas are made possible with support from Regions Bank. Internship opportunities are posted as they are available.
