2021 Asia Game Changer Awards

October 28, 2021 • Virtual

The Asia Game Changer Awards recognizes individuals and groups from every corner of Asia and every walk of life, whose actions have profoundly strengthened the bonds between Asia and the world. In 2021, a time of trauma for the Asian American community, we honor and celebrate that community — those who have inspired the world with their achievements, and those who have seized this moment and brought positive change.

“In this challenging time for Asian Americans, we thought it only natural that our signature global initiative specifically honor the achievement and impact of the Asian American community,” said Asia Society President and CEO Kevin Rudd. “These people have inspired us, and they have inspired their country and inspired the world.”

Special guests for this virtual ceremony include Jensen Huang and Magic Johnson, with participants joining from around the world. Running from 8-9:30 p.m. ET, the evening will also feature a duet performance by former Game Changers Yo-Yo Ma and Wu Tong.
