Morning Kids Quest
Journey through Asia! Join a Kids Quest: Explore Asia scavenger hunt as part of your Explore Asia admission. Take a guided tour showcasing the arts and cultures of China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam and conclude your quest with an all-ages activity.
Kids Quest tours begin at 10:30 a.m. and may be joined at any time.
Afternoon All-Ages Make and Take
Dive into hands-on fun at this All-Ages Make and Take workshop highlighting our exhibition Xu Bing: Word Alchemy! Learn to write using square word calligraphy — the innovative writing system created by artist Xu Bing to stylize written English as Chinese characters — plus, craft a story on your own or as a group, play a memory game, and more. This family-friendly workshop is included in Explore Asia admission and is designed for all ages.
Education and Outreach programs at Asia Society Texas are presented by AARP. Major support comes from Nancy C. Allen, Chinhui Juhn and Eddie Allen, The Brown Foundation, Inc, and Houston Endowment Inc.
