World Languages

The 2013 South Carolina Standard for World Language Proficiency includes benchmarks, indicators and sample learning targets for interculturality parallel to the language benchmarks, indicators and sample learning targets in Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Teacher Preparation and Professional Development

Professional development offered by the state is focused on the content of International Baccalaureate programs.

Common Core

The state is in the process of replacing Common Core standards with state-written standards.
