Join Asia Society Texas Center to celebrate the Lunar New Year at The Galleria! To start the Year of the Dog, we will have FREE arts and crafts projects, performances, and games for the whole family. All activities and performances will take place on Level One, near Saks Fifth Avenue.

Lunar New Year festivities will also take place at Asia Society's building in the Museum District on February 17 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.

Chinese New Year Lanterns
Welcome the new year with a lantern to light your way to happiness and prosperity in 2018.

Hong Kong Wishing Trees
Make a special wish for the coming year and attach it to a replica of Lam Tsuen Trees, which are important during Lunar New Year in Hong Kong.

Japanese Kimono New Year’s Cards
Create a New Year card with a message for friends and family on one side, along with a multi-layered kimono design on the other.

Mongolian Tsagaan Sar Camel Decorations
Design a project to celebrate the new year in Mongolia and one of the country’s best-known animals, the two-humped camel.

Year of the Dog Masks
In celebration of the Year of the Dog, create a fun project based on your favorite canine.
