November 20, 2019 — Sana Mir is the former captain of Pakistan's national women's cricket team and is among the top female cricketers in the world. She's also a fierce activist who uses her outsized celebrity and massive social media presence to advocate for everything from mental health awareness to an end to body shaming. Mir has risen to the top of the sport and, in the process, she's become a source of inspiration for millions of girls — a mantle she doesn't wear lightly.

This inaugural program starts with a local focus, featuring Dr. Anne Chao (Philanthropist and Professor), Donna Cole (President and CEO, Cole Chemical), and Y. Ping Sun (First Lady, University; Counsel, Yetter Coleman, LLP), and moderation by Stephanie Mehta (Editor-at-Large, Bloomberg Businessweek). The women shared stories of their childhoods, prejudices they overcame, successes, and their views on how women can continue to push for equality in the workplace regardless of gender or race.
