Each day during the week will be devoted to a different Asian spring holiday or festival. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about each holiday through storytelling and unique activities, while also attending daily screenings of DisneyNature’s Born in China and enjoying FREE admission to our new exhibition FotoFest 2018 Biennial: INDIA | Contemporary Photographic and New Media Art.

About DisneyNature’s Born in China
Film screenings start at 12:00 pm. (1 hr., 19 min)
Journey into the wilds of China! Born In China follows the adventures of three animal families — the majestic panda, the savvy golden monkey, and the elusive snow leopard. Featuring stunning imagery, the film navigates the vast terrain—from the frigid mountains to the heart of the bamboo forest—on the wings of a red-crowned crane, showcasing remarkably intimate family moments captured on film for the first time ever.

Art activities run from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

India: Holi
Celebrate Holi, the festival of colors, by drawing traditional rangoli patterned artwork with bright chalk.
Tuesday, March 13
Japan: Hanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing)
Paint and construct your own cherry blossom tree.
Wednesday, March 14
China: Qingming Festival
Learn about this traditional Chinese festival while building your own kite.
Thursday, March 15
Iran: Nowruz
Decorate egg ornaments to celebrate the Persian New Year.
Friday, March 16
Thailand: Songkran
Commemorate the Thai New Year by making paper flowers and water gun paintings! (weather permitting)
