Also known in many Asian countries as the Moon Festival or Lantern Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival welcomes the autumn harvest and full moon. Asia Society Texas' Mid-Autumn Festival features Taiwanese artists and photography, Vietnamese storytelling, and exciting art activities such as lantern-making, paper cutting, and faux mooncakes. Join us as we celebrate this festive holiday!

Performances and Talks
Join us upstairs at 11:30 a.m. to hear from artists and enjoy a parade, presented by the Ministry of Culture (Taiwan) and Taiwan Academy of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston! Artist Shen Chao-Liang will share images from his recent project, 《STAGE》Time - lapse HD (2’36”), followed by a Techno Prince Parade Dance.

Parking
Paid parking is available in the Asia Society Texas Center parking lot across the building on Southmore Boulevard. Entrances are located on Caroline Street and Austin Street.
