One of the most critical challenges of this century is meeting the world’s growing demand for energy while also reducing emissions. ExxonMobil’s Low Carbon Solutions (LCS) business is designed to address this significant issue by advancing solutions which include clean hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and second-generation biofuels.
The second program of the three-part series covers some of the high-impact work LCS is doing to help industrial companies around the globe such as establishing carbon capture storage (CCS) locations in multiple countries to reduce emissions in high-emitting sectors, like manufacturing and heavy industry. The panel will also focus on initiatives in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the broader Asia-Pacific region and address the value chains, economic benefit, and associated spinoff industries.
Join us for a discussion with Matt Crocker, ExxonMobil’s Senior Vice President for Low Carbon Solutions; Takajiro “Tak” Ishikawa, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America; and Charles “Chuck” McConnell, Energy Center Officer of the Center for Carbon Management in Energy (CCME) at the University of Houston, in conversation with Uday Turaga, founder and CEO of ADI Analytics, as they explore how these technologies will help the world decarbonize.
