Creation Station: Chinese and Mexican Cultures
VIEW EVENT DETAILSAsia Society Texas Center presents a summer family event exploring the art of The Other Side: Chinese and Mexican Immigration to America. Creations will include yarn designs inspired by Margarita Cabrera’s Space In Between series, golden mountains drawn from Hung Liu’s Jiu Jin Shan, and tiles influenced by the Puebla designs of central Mexico. Each Creation Station participant will also receive a complimentary fortune cookie after finishing their art activities. Both tiles and fortune cookies are available as supplies last.
