Houston Museum District Day
VIEW EVENT DETAILSHouston Museum District Day is part show-and-tell and part scavenger hunt. It’s one day each year completely dedicated to exploring all that the district has to offer — from fine art to historic relics to scientific wonders.
For this 16th annual celebration of Houston's cultural scene, Asia Society Texas Center joins 17 museums in offering free general admission and hosting special events and exhibits. Visitors are encouraged to walk the district or to take advantage of free pedicabs.
The Texas Center's free Family Day from 1:00 to 4:00pm gives families the opportunity to explore Central Asia and the Silk Road through crafts, demonstrations, exhibits, storytelling, and a very special percussion workshop!
Please note, while Houston Museum District Day ends at 5:00pm, Asia Society Texas Center's doors will remain open until 6:00pm.
