Art and Social Responsibility (Complete)
NEW YORK, October 28, 2018 —Experts in the arts, technology, and philanthropy sectors share their experience in making art more accessible to wider audiences. Speakers included Robert Wong, vice president at Google Creative Lab, Oscar Tang, Asia Society trustee, Kara Ross, founder of UNLEASHED, Shen Yang, vice president at the China Film International Corporation, and Mariët Westermann, executive vice president for programs and research at The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Following the presentations Boon Hui Tan, vice president of global arts and cultural programs and director of Asia Society Museum moderated a Q&A session with all of the speakers. The session was part of the China-U.S. Culture Investment Forum, jointly presented by the Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation and Asia Society. (1 hr., 15 min.)
