Conversations France-Asie 2022: Globalization vs Fragmentation — Where do we place value?
PARIS, October 13, 2022 — Asia Society France officially opens its center with a global launch titled Conversations France-Asie 2022 - “To Act in Troubled Times: New Perspectives from France, Asia, Africa, and the World.” In the third session, speakers discuss the effects of increased globalization, notions of homogeneity, and modernism vs. rationalism. Participants include Andrea Goldstein, economist and head of India/Indonesia/Tunisia desk at OECD Economics Department; Jean-Francois Huchet, president of Inalco (University of Oriental Languages and Civilizations) and professor of Economics of China and Asia at Inalco; Sandra Poncet, professor at Paris School of Economics; and Laurent Vigier, chairman of the Five Capital Executive Committee and of Friends of the Global Fund Europe.
