March 16, 2022 - Asia Society Southern California (ASSC) concluded its Asian Women Empowered (AWE) celebration of Women’s History Month with a panel discussion convening women at the forefront of investment, finance, and banking. The panel features Noriko Honda Chen of Capital Group, Christina Gaw of Gaw Capital Partners, and Veena Isaac of BlackRock and was moderated by Denise Yi of Citi Private Bank. Speakers shared their insights on topics that addressed the intersectionality of Asian women’s careers in finance, such as the “work-life balance,” ingrained cultural attitudes, and differences between men and women in the workplace.
