New York Arab World Culture Forum: Art for Sustainable Futures (Complete)
NEW YORK, October 16, 2018 — Part of the New York City Arab Art and Education Initiative, artists, activists, and arts administrators discuss the role arts and culture play in the United Nations' goals for sustainable development. Participants include artist and designer Rashad Salim, visual artist Razan Al Sarraf, and artist and activist Matthew Mazzotta. The panel was moderated by Stephen Stapleton, the cofounder of the arts collective Edge of Arabia. Before the panel, UNESCO Representative to the UN Marie Roudil delivered opening remarks.
