Conversations France-Asie 2022: Sustainability — Are Stakeholders Walking the Talk? Going Beyond Words and Promises
PARIS, October 13, 2022 — Asia Society France officially opens its center with a global launch titled Conversations France-Asie 2022 - “To Act in Troubled Times: New Perspectives from France, Asia, Africa, and the World.” In the second session, speakers discuss the concept and term “sustainability” and the challenges that come as a result, how to properly tackle it in the long term, government initiatives tackling global warming and sustainability, and the importance of culture when discussing the environment. Participants include Ashok Adicéam, principal counselor for the UN Ocean Conference France 2025; Bertrand Badré, managing director and founder of Blue Like an Orange Sustainable Capital; Nathalie Bastianelli, author and founder of WeBelongToChange; Geneviève Férone, author of Pioneer of Socially Responsible Investment, CEO of Casabee, co-founder of Prophil and vice-president of The Shift Project; Sel Kofiga, founder and creative director of The Slum Studio; and Reina Maruyama, chief sustainability officer of Workstudio-Paneco.
