Asia Society Washington Annual Awards Dinner
VIEW EVENT DETAILSThe Annual Washington Awards Dinner brings together a glittering mix of business leaders, philanthropists, socialites, policymakers, intellectuals, and artists to honor Asia Society's mission: deepening connections and building partnerships among the peoples of Asia and the United States.
At this event, Asia Society will honor distinguished leaders from the international business, foreign affairs, and public policy fields, who are recognized as visionaries for the significant contributions they have made. This year, we are pleased to honor His Excellency Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, with the Distinguished Statesman Award; Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of State and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, with the Lifetime Achievement Award; Lael Brainard, Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs, with the Public Policy Award; and Jim Rogers, Chairman and CEO of Duke Energy, and Wang Yusuo, Chairman of ENN, jointly with the International Business Award.
We invite you to attend and support the 2011 Annual Washington Awards Dinner. As Asia Society Washington's most prominent signature event, the proceeds from the Awards Dinner help to sustain our more than 100 annual policy, business, environmental, educational, human rights, and cultural programs in the nation's capital.
