Announcing Simona Grano as TOY Senior Fellow on Taiwan
Dr. Simona Grano, a leading China and Taiwan specialist, has been nominated TOY Senior Fellow at Asia Society Policy Institute's Center for China Analysis in New York. Simona is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Zurich, with a focus on Chinese and Taiwanese studies. Dr. Grano will provide insights and analysis on the run up to the Taiwanese presidential elections of January 13, 2024.
Gen A Alumni Travel Grant 2023
Martín Mosteiro Romero selected for the Gen A Alumni Travel Grant. He is an energy systems engineer and a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore. He holds PhD and MS degrees from ETH Zürich as well as a BS from Rutgers University. Martin will travel to Seoul in the autumn of 2023.
Asia Society Switzerland Curator Residency in Taipei
Giada Olivotto selected as the Curator-in-Residence 2023. She will travel to Taipei at the beginning of 2024 and intends to also visit Yunnan where she wants to learn more about Mosuo culture, a matriarchal community.
