Arts and Culture

Big Picture

Arts and culture are an important pillar of our work in fostering Asia Competence in Switzerland, as they open a window into our time and the many experiences and challenges we face – as individuals, nations, and as a collective. With Big Picture, we create a space where we not only talk about art and culture but experience it first-hand – be it visually, sensory, through motion, or other participatory elements.

Big Picture is a quarter-annually, public event series where we celebrate art in all its forms and shapes: Be it food, movies, museums or literature. We invite artists, curators, and experts to talk about their practices and how these can help shed light on the world we live in. These talks are designed to further the dialogue and exchange across disciplines and regions, and to travel beyond the events.
