Video: Famed Abstraction Artist Zao Wou-Ki Inspires a New Generation
Every year, Asia Society Museum dedicates one of its galleries to art created by New York City public school students. In the video above, students see their artwork displayed in a museum for the first time during the opening of Inspired by Zao Wou-Ki: Works by New York City Students.
The exhibition is part of an annual collaboration with Studio in a School, presenting the work that New York City students create in response to Asia Society exhibitions. This year, the student artwork was inspired by the Fall 2016 exhibition No Limits: Zao Wou-Ki. The schoolchildren's artwork will be on display at Asia Society Museum through August 6.
