In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Japan and the U.S.-Japan Council in Washington, Asia Society is hosting a one-year anniversary program in remembrance of the 3/11 Japan disaster. Please join James P. Zumwalt, EAP Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Japan and Korean Affairs, for a discussion on rebuilding and recovery efforts in Japan, including “Operation Tomodachi”, a US Armed Forces operation directed towards providing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts in and around Japan. The Q&A session will be moderated by Frederick H. Katayama, Anchor, Thomson Reuters.
