While technology is reshaping the financial industry everywhere in the world, nowhere is this trend more pronounced than in China: The country has become a hotbed for fintech innovation. At the inaugural China-Swiss Fintech Forum, hosted by Asia Society Switzerland and UBS, three speakers will provide insights into China‘s fintech scene and the trends that shape it.
Schedule:

The speakers:
Carl Yeung is CFO of Qudian, one of China’s largest P2P lending companies. Qudian was recently ranked 3rd in the KPMG List of Global Fintech Innovators, after Alibaba and ZhongAn. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2017.
Zhao Hongqiang is CFO of 100Credit, a company specializing in big data analysis for banks and other financial institutions. He has worked for several large Chinese fintechs in the past and was director for financial analysis at Viacom in New York.
Wei Hopeman is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Arbor Ventures, the largest fintech focused venture fund in Asia. She was previously Managing Director and Head of Asia at Citi Ventures, Citigroup’s strategic venture investment, and innovation arm.
