Actors bring to life the memoirs of exhibition artists Dinh Q. Lê and Tintin Wulia in a staged reading. Directed by Ralph Peña, featuring actors Ron Domingo, Eileen Rivera, and Paco Tolson.

Followed by a panel discussion with the artists Dinh Q. Lê and Tintin Wulia. Moderator: Rachel Cooper, Director, Global Performing Arts and Cultural Initiatives, Asia Society.
 
The interviews with the artists in tonight’s reading were part of a much larger project Diaspora, conceived, written and directed by Ong Keng Sen and presented by Singapore’s acclaimed Theatre Works in Singapore and Edinburgh in 2006. The original production of Diaspora was a panoramic docu-performance that explored the diasporic phenomenon of the human spirit in time and space, celebrating humanity and human tenacity.  Originally Commissioned by National Arts Council of Singapore
