Take a guided tour of Asia Society Hong Kong Center (ASHK), the Former Explosives Magazine compound of the Old Victoria Barracks built by the British Army in the mid-19th century. Explore the history of the heritage site, and learn about its transformation by award-winning Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects into a leading arts and cultural institution in Hong Kong. Discover the site’s different features, natural and man-made, and measures employed to conserve and preserve the site’s historical significance through its distinctive architectural design.
In view of the latest government social distancing measures, our original tours scheduled for January 15 have been canceled.
The next public tour will be announced soon.
The public tours are free of charge, and are led by ASHK volunteers.
