Center Opening

When the Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above is issued at or before 7am, Asia Society Hong Kong Center (ASHK) will be closed for the entire day.

When the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued at or after 7am and canceled before 12pm, ASHK will be closed until 12pm. If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is canceled after 12pm, ASHK will reopen within two hours after the warning is canceled. If the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued during opening hours, ASHK will remain open until 5pm or 8pm on the last Thursday of each month during the exhibition period.

Programs

When the Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm warning is issued at or after 6am, lunch-time programs will be canceled. When the Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8 or above or the Black Rainstorm warning is issued at or after 4pm, evening programs will be canceled. Dinner programs will be cancelled, when the aforementioned warnings are issued at or after 12pm.

Final arrangements for programs will be announced on ASHK's website on the date of the program, as per the below table. If no announcements are made on ASHK's website by the specific announcement times, programs will be held as scheduled.

Site Tours 

All tours for the day will be cancelled, if Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Warning Signal No. 8, or Red or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued at or before 7am. If Typhoon Warning Signal No. 3 or Amber Rainstorm Warning is issued, all walk-in tours for family, and tours for kindergartens, schools for physically handicapped children and schools for mentally handicapped children will be cancelled. Pre-arranged tour groups will be contacted to reschedule the tour.
