Melbourne Asia Game Changer Awards 2022

VIEW EVENT DETAILS

You are invited to the 2022 Melbourne Asia Game Changer Awards at Melbourne’s Capitol Theatre on the evening of Wednesday, December 7.

This year we will honour champions of recovery – leaders who have reactivated our community post-pandemic and kept us connected with Asia.

After a public nomination campaign across Australia, we will soon announce this year’s Game Changers who will take their place in Asia Society’s global Asia Game Changer winners list - an illustrious group that includes the likes of Naomi Osaka, Yoyo Ma and BTS.

Launched last year, the Melbourne Asia Game Changer initiative showcases under-recognised and inspirational individuals who are making a positive contribution to Australia’s relationship with Asia.

The series brings greater acknowledgement to Australians who are making a meaningful impact across the region in the fields of the arts, health, science, sport, business, media and community advocacy.

The evening promises to be a night of celebration convened by broadcaster, radio producer and journalist, Beverley Wang, creator of the ABC podcast ‘It's Not A Race’. Our Game Changers will join Beverley for a panel discussion on stage to share their achievements with the wider Asia Society community.

The event will be followed by a celebratory cocktail reception to celebrate the Game Changers and bring an end to a busy 2022.

Date: Wednesday 7 Dec 2022
Time: 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. AEDT
Venue: The Capitol, 113 Swanston St, Melbourne VIC 3000
