In her first visit to the U.S. in more than 40 years, Myanmar democracy icon and parliamentarian Aung San Suu Kyi discussed the progress of reform in her country and calls for an easing of U.S. sanctions., at an Asia Society event at the United States Institute of Peace in Washington D.C. on September 18, 2012.
