Join us virtually for an Instagram Live tour of Asia Society Museum’s newest exhibition, Rebel, Jester, Mystic, Poet: Contemporary Persians — The Mohammed Afkhami Collection. The exhibition presents works by twenty-three artists from Iran and the diaspora, reflecting a dynamic and thriving contemporary arts scene. The tour, hosted by Michelle Yun Mapplethorpe, vice president for global artistic programs and director of Asia Society Museum, financier and philanthropist Mohammed Afkhami, and guest curator Dr. Fereshteh Daftari, will offer an illuminating look inside Afkhami’s personal collection.
