Join us for an Instagram Live tour of Asia Society Museum’s newest exhibition, Buddha, Sage of the Shakya Clan: Masterworks from the Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection. The exhibition focuses on the “Eight Great Events” in the story of the Buddha’s life as depicted in scenes originating in early Indian Buddhism.

The tour, hosted by Laura Weinstein, John H. Foster Associate Curator of Pre-modern Art, will offer an illuminating look at the sculptures and paintings on display depicting some or all of the “Eight Great Events.”
