As the head of Corporate and International banking for the largest bank in India and one of the top 50 banks globally, Sriram is uniquely positioned to share valuable insights on a wide range of topics, including key economic developments in India and the region, India's banking sector, and the growth of Fintech in India. Asia Society Executive Vice President Tom Nagorski will moderate the discussion and Q&A with roundtable participants.

B. Sriram, a career banker, brings over 35 years of experience at State Bank of India in India and overseas. Prior to his current assignment, Sriram has held a number of positions at State Bank of India, such as Managing Director (National Banking Group — comprising over 24,000 branches, including Personal, SME, and Rural Banking, as well as Government Business), Managing Director (State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur), Chief General Manager (Delhi Circle — one of the largest circles in the Bank), and Chief General Manager (Global Markets — involving management of the Bank’s investment portfolio, liquidity, money market and forex operations).
Tom Nagorski (moderator) is Executive Vice President of Asia Society. He joined the Asia Society following a three-decade career in journalism — having served most recently as Managing Editor for International Coverage at ABC News.
