Stuart B. Solomon, Chairman of MetLife Korea
Stuart Solomon was appointed Chairman of MetLife, Korea effective August 1st, 2009 having previously served as President and CEO from June 2001 thru July of 2009. Prior to joining MetLife in 1995, Stu worked at Korea Exchange Bank’s New York Branch for 16 years primarily running an investment/trading portfolio. Stu currently serves as Chairman of the MetLife Korea Foundation and since January 2008 as a Vice Chairman and co-chair of the insurance committee for the American Chamber of Commerce. Stu first came to Korea as a US Peace Corps volunteer (1971-1973). He received his BA from Syracuse University.
