Karen Lam has been studying yoga since 1999 and is committed to Iyengar Yoga. She did her ‘research’ into yoga by attending local and International yoga teachers’ classes & workshops in private clubs, commercial studios as well as regional conventions to look at the different yoga ‘labels’ under Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, AcroYoga, Ana Forrest Yoga, Jivamukti, David Swensen, Anusara, etc. She appreciates practice & discipline the most as well as the art & science of teaching under the Iyengar Yoga system and has been taking Iyengar classes since 2000. In 2007 she commenced her Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training from Peter Scott, which covers Asana, Anatomy, Physiology, Philosophy, Teaching & Adjustment Techniques, and most important – Self-Practice. In 2010, she became a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher
Karen 自1999年開始瑜伽練習,在接觸Iyengar瑜伽前學習過各種流派的瑜伽,如Ashtanga, Yin Yoga, AcroYoga, Ana Forrest Yoga, Jivamukti, David Swensen, Anusara。從2000年開始接觸並練習艾楊格瑜伽,現在香港Yoga Central瑜伽工作室任教。2007年參加資深進階二級認證Iyengar瑜伽導師培訓師Peter Scott的艾楊格瑜伽系統培訓,涵蓋了體式,解剖學,生理學,哲學,教學方法及最重要的自我練習和實踐。在2010年9月獲得艾楊格瑜伽教學證書。
