As one of the most celebrated days in China and other parts of Asia, Mid-Autumn Festival is just around the corner for families and loved ones to reunite and enjoy the gathering with different cultural activities, from appreciating the full moon to carrying beautiful lanterns and tasting delicious mooncakes.
Mooncakes are staple to this particular festival in Hong Kong and Mainland China, just as tea is ubiquitous in Chinese culture. This year, why not combine them and find a beautiful harmony in this pairing?
Asia Society Hong Kong partners with Man Cha this time to bring you Mid-Autumn Tea & Mooncake Appreciation. On September 3, you will be able to learn how to brew tea using a Gaiwan while tasting selected teas from Man Cha. The sessions also pairs your tea with three different tea-flavored lotus paste mooncakes infused with Man Cha’s best sellers: Milky Oolong, Houjicha, and Organic Earl Grey.
But there is more! In addition to learning about tea appreciation and mooncake pairing, each participant will walk away with a complimentary Man Cha Mooncakes Gift Set, which includes:
• Milky Oolong Mooncake x1
• Milky Oolong x1 sachet
• Houjicha Mooncake x1
• Houjicha Tea x1 sachet
• Earl Grey Mooncake x1
• Organic Earl Grey Tea x1 sachet
• Designer gift box
