As the Gulf Cooperation Council member states – Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman – strive to grow and diversify their economies, what efforts are they making to seek new partners for trade? In what sectors do they seek foreign investment? How is ongoing conflict in the Middle East affecting and shaping these efforts? What are the priorities of the Gulf States in engaging with China, and Hong Kong in particular?
Join Asia Society Hong Kong Center for a chance to hear from the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, His Excellency Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, as he discusses these questions and more with Asia Society Hong Kong Center Chairman Ronnie C. Chan.
