At a time when the Asian film industry is engaged in active efforts to introduce new media, reinforce its foundations and democratize distribution channels, this conference provides a timely platform for filmmakers, producers, industry representatives and movie fans to exchange their thoughts and ideas on relevant subjects, such as web series, films on feminism and current trends in Asian film. The program also includes the screening of Korean films and web series.
Discussion I: Current Trends in Asian Film
What are the latest trends in Asian film these days? How do market needs and movie content influence each other? In this session, movie directors, producers and film buyers from Hong Kong or Korea are invited to share their perspectives.
