Korean artist Lee Ufan is widely known as one of the founders and major proponents of the avant-garde Mono-ha (Object School) group, Japan’s first internationally recognized contemporary art movement, in the late 1960s. Lee's work has been featured in hundreds of solo and group exhibitions since 1967, including a June 2011 major five decade retrospective of his work, entitled Lee Ufan: Marking Infinity, at the Solomon R.
