As Southeast Asia's power sector appears to shift towards clean energy, driven by increasing demand for alternatives to coal, Dr. Yang will shed light on the region’s transition and commitment to net zero.

Dr Muyi Yang, Non-Resident Senior Policy Fellow, Asia Society Australia
Dr Muyi Yang is Non-resident Senior Policy Fellow at Asia Society Australia with expertise on the energy transition in Asia with a particular focus on China, Southeast Asia and Oceania. Previously he was Associate Director, Clean Energy, Asia Society Policy Institute. .
Prior to that, Dr. Yang was actively engaged in teaching, research, and consulting on a wide range of policy themes including, electricity market reform, renewable uptake, coal power phase-down, transport electrification, energy governance, and political economy.
