Asia Society Australia in association with Telstra warmly invites you to an intimate discussion under our ‘Disruptive Asia’ series on how digital partnerships have become crucial to business success in the 21st century.

We are witnessing a global shift towards partnerships between organisations to build digital capabilities. As traditional markets have transformed with the convergence of social, mobile and cloud technologies, enterprises increasingly need to adopt a robust digital strategy in order to remain globally competitive.

The discussion will focus on key findings of Telstra’s recently commissioned report, Connecting Companies: Strategic Partnerships for the Digital Age (written by The Economist Intelligence Unit). Findings included: the need for enterprises to develop new digital capabilities that serve the “always-on” customer; engaging customers across physical and digital channels; the balance of gaining exposure to new technologies while sharing the risk; the benefits of data sharing; and the benefits of engaging with start-ups as sources of rather than as competitors or potential acquisitions.
