UN Women promotes gender equality at the United Nations (UN). It develops and uphold standards and works toward creating an environment in which every woman and girl can exercise her human rights and thrive.
Its executive board consists of 35 member countries, four contributing countries, and two members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC).
