Sponsored by the Export-Import Bank of China (China Exim Bank) and other institutional investors, CAF is a quasi-sovereign equity fund under the State Council. It primarily invests in equity and equity-linked instruments for transportation facilities, public works, energy, and other infrastructure in Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries.
