Future Forward: AI for Creatives
VIEW EVENT DETAILSRecently, the world was witness to the first dual strike, in decades, of both Hollywood actors and screenwriters bringing the industry to a halt. Core to the strikes is figuring out the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in their creative processes. In the Philippines, a local television network has taken a step towards the AI direction by introducing the ‘country’s first Artificial Intelligence-generated sportcaster[s]’.
Suffice it to say, today’s world is defined by innovation and the advancement of new technologies. Yet the world also finds itself both ecstatic and hesitant to proceed with the prospect of the newest of these innovations – AI. Is it the future of our creative community; or will it be the spiral for authentic and genuine creativity? Even more reflexive, are we asking the right questions?
Future Forward: AI for Creatives is one in a series of discussions in Future Forward: The Prospect of AI, an Asia Society Philippines and Manila House Private Members Club program that dives into the heart of innovation and discovery on the transformative innovation that is AI.
The program is set to be interactive with attendees having the opportunity to send their questions to the panel at 2:00PM-4:00PM, on November 20, 2023 at Manila House, Bonifacio Global City. The panel discussion will be followed by socials with appetizers and drinks served.
