About Asia Society Philippines

Asia Society is the leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context. Across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy, the Society provides insight, generates ideas, and promotes collaboration to address present challenges and create a shared future.

Founded in 1956, the Asia Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational institution with offices in Hong Kong, Houston, Los Angeles, Manila, Melbourne, Mumbai, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Seoul, Sydney, Tokyo, Washington, D.C, and Zurich.


About Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc

Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc. aims to strengthen relationships, deepen understanding and bridge differences across the Philippines, Asia and the United States. We develop cross-sector programs that bring together peoples, leaders and institutions to promote understanding of Asia, across the fields of business and policy, leadership, education, arts and culture, sustainability, and technology. Part of a global network of 14 Asia Society centers in Asia and the West, Asia Society Philippines is dedicated in helping to create a more collaborative and shared future for Asia, especially encouraging dialogue and fostering new partnerships.

The Philippine Center presents the uniqueness and diversity of cultures through lectures, exhibitions, films, seminars and conferences. The Center has also developed special programs that represent the culture and achievements of Filipino culture, such as the Kulinarya cookbook.

Membership to Asia Society is open to individuals, families, and organizations who would like to participate in dynamic exchanges on arts and culture, education, foreign policy, business, and other matters of regional interest.

Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc. was established on March 22, 1999 by Washington Sycip with a mission to promote understanding of Asia.
