Asia Society is the leading educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context. Across the fields of arts, business, culture, education, and policy, the Society provides insight, generates ideas, and promotes collaboration to address present challenges and create a shared future.

Founded in 1956, the Asia Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational institution with offices in Hong Kong, Houston, Los Angeles, Manila, Mumbai, New York, San Francisco, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo, Washington, DC, and Zurich.


About Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc

Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc. aims to strengthen relationships, deepen understanding and bridge differences across the Philippines, Asia and the United States. We develop cross-sector programs that bring together peoples, leaders and institutions to promote understanding of Asia, across the fields of policy, business leadership, education and arts and culture. Part of a global network of 13 Asia Society centers in Asia and the United States, Asia Society Philippines is dedicated in helping to create a more collaborative and shared future for Asia, especially encouraging dialogue and fostering new partnerships.

The Philippine Center presents the uniqueness and diversity of cultures through lectures, exhibitions, films, seminars and conferences. The Center has also developed special programs that represent the culture and achievements of Filipino culture, such as the Kulinarya cookbook. ASPF also serves as the secretariat for the Philippines 21 Young Leaders Initiative, a local charter of the Asia 21 Young Leaders Initiative. 

Membership to Asia Society is open to individuals, families, and organizations who would like to participate in dynamic exchanges on arts and culture, education, foreign policy, business, and other matters of regional interest.

ASPF is a non-profit foundation accredited by the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) is supported by membership contributions from foundations, institutions, corporations, and individuals. All donations made to Asia Society Philippines are tax-deductible. 

Asia Society Philippine Foundation, Inc. was established on March 22, 1999 by Washington Sycip with a mission to promote understanding of Asia.
