Last 27 March 2019, Asia Society Philippines, in partnership with Acceler8, held another edition of its monthly series, Asia Society Conversations, in lieu with Women’s Day this March, entitled Turning Passion into Action
Asia Society PH, with Fujifilm PH, hosted the launch of We Are Like Air by Xyza Bacani, an Asia 21 Young Leader alumna. We Are Like Air documents the experiences and issues of the invisible yet important people, the migrant workers.
Asia Society Conversations returned on October 10 at PenBrothers in Legazpi Village, bringing together representatives from government, civil society , and industry to break down political, cultural, and economic dimensions of the context of Filipino IPs over beer and pizza.
Asia Society Conversations returned on 23 May to ask “Why Care About Culture?” Students, young professionals, and people from various sectors gathered to hear from a diverse group of panelists who have worked in multicultural environments: Amina Rasul, Dr. Alfredo Robles, Norberto “Peewee” Roldan, and Lester Estrada.
