China will undergo dramatic changes in its urban-rural population ratio over the next decade as substantial investments are made in urban infrastructure. What impact will this have on economic growth, which has been driven significantly by the abundant supply of rural labor? What are the key factors that could derail China’s economic growth? Can these risk factors be anticipated and hence, neutralized? Should China’s economic growth slow down or even stall, what implications will this have for China and the rest of the world?
