Culinary demonstrator – Joyce Seah
Ms Joyce Seah spent the last 16 years as a stay at home mum. She volunteered as Head of Programmes and Services at a Student Care Centre. She wrote the Values Programme for the Centres, amongst the other workshops which she spearheaded. Her passion is in all things creative, all things to do with hands. It is therefore not surprising that she sees the therapeutic value in the culinary and crafts BeesyHands offers. Now, she devotes her time at BeesyHands as its Founder, writing workshop outlines, working closely with all Beesy instructors, to ensure that all workshops conducted are clear in their objectives and outcomes, personally learning all the crafts and tweaking culinary recipes to make them easy to follow, by adults and children. After all, BeesyHands is all about using the hands to make things authentic and uniquely yours.
About BeesyHands
A social enterprise set up with the belief in providing hands-on learning experiences to children beyond their academic pursuits. They hired retirees who are skilled in craft and culinary skills to pass their knowledge down to the next generation. In this modern world of technology, these hands-on learning experiences can be valuable in their adult lives.
