Traveling may seem impossible during a pandemic; however, Kim and Kelly are determined to do what it takes to spend time with each other and to visit their grandparents who live in a different country. Unfortunately, the cousins do not have passports. Will they be able to solve this problem in time to travel? We’ll find out during this interactive and fun-filled session of storytelling!

Karen Mitchell-Sandoval is a retired professional who worked within the U.S. Government's Department of Justice for 29 & 1/2 years. Karen's job led her on work assignments in various countries to include the United States, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, and Afghanistan. Prior to joining the Federal Government, for five years, Karen worked in the private sector as a supervisor within the Better Business Bureau of Newark, New Jersey. While maintaining a full-time career, she juggled raising four daughters, all of whom are now adults. Karen enjoys alone time with books, writing, and traveling. She is an avid hiker and runner who holds multiple half marathon medals. She's also an inspirational blogger and has a sincere appreciation for music. Karen has three granddaughters and she currently resides in Hong Kong with her husband. "The Traveling Tales of Kim & Kelly" is her first book.
