Follow us for an exclusive guided tour to the collection by Teresa Coleman.

Teresa Coleman Fine Arts was established in Hong Kong in 1982 and for many years occupied a magnificent gallery in Hong Kong’s Central antique district, on the corner of Pottinger and Wyndham St. The gallery was best known for its stunning collection of antique embroidered dress and silk textiles from the Chinese Imperial Court, dating mainly from the Qing and Ming dynasties. The gallery at street level has long since closed down but for those of you who may be interested, the showrooms of Teresa Coleman Fine Arts and The Tibetan Gallery are still open daily,, by appointment, on an upper floor at 55 Wyndham St.Central.
This time, however, Teresa Coleman is delighted to welcome us to view some of her collection, The Teresa Coleman Collection Trust, at her warehouse in Tin Wan.
We will be shown the awe inspiring costumes of mandarins and princes, the delicately embroidered gowns and skirts of court ladies, palace hangings and furniture decoration and be taken back to the sophistication and elegance of China’s imperial court.
*note this is a warehouse storage area, not an exhibition, items are stored in boxes and drawers and will be taken out for viewing.
