A film that Sir David Attenborough describes as “the most important film of our time.” A Plastic Ocean is an award-winning documentary, which explores the fragile state of our oceans, uncovers alarming truths about plastic pollution and the threat to human health, and critically reveals the solutions that can be put into immediate effect to turn the tide.
The 99-minute documentary has been selected for screenings at conferences and festivals in the US, Canada, and UK, including the Smithsonian Institute and the International Union for Conversation of Nature where the film was seen by U.S. President Barack Obama and environmentalists Sylvia Earle and Jane Goodall. A Plastic Ocean also received a nomination for Best Documentary at the Raindance Film Festival. The film will be screened at Asia Society Hong Kong Center prior to its global release next year.
